This time G-Fusion, UKIYO STUDIOS will bring a variety of independent games with different styles to G-Fusion, covering diverse genres such as narrative suspense, action, horror, simulation, etc., and will provide on-site trial play experience. Players and media are welcome to visit the booth to experience it.

1998, Tokyo. The falling rain refuses to stop, and the girl pursues death.

“Rain98” is a Lo-Fi × psychological suspense adventure game (ADV) set in Tokyo in 1998, depicting spending time with the heroine Rena Amehara (CV: Tsuchiya Riya). The game consists of a novel part to advance the story, and an adventure part to enjoy interacting with Reina and exploring the streets. Accompanied by Lo-Fi sound effects, players are introduced into a world filled with uneasiness.

The player travels to Tokyo in 1998 and lives with the mysterious girl Rena Amehara in a dim apartment. The two plan to perform a strange ritual with the goal of destroying the world. You need to work to earn money to maintain your life and take care of Reina’s emotions; once you make her unhappy, it will trigger a terrible ending. In the story, you can explore the streets, game arcades, and public phone booths of Shibuya in the 1990s, and experience the nostalgic subculture of Tokyo at the end of the century. The story has multiple endings, and the boundary between reality and delusion is blurred.

“C#4R4CT3R”, a game studio headquartered in Shibuya, Tokyo, announced that the trial version of the first work “Rain98” under development has been officially launched on Steam on October 17, 2026 (Saturday, Japan time). At the online showcase event “The MIX Fall Game Showcase” hosted by The MIX in San Francisco, USA, a new trailer containing in-game footage was released. In conjunction with the announcement in the program, a free trial version of Steam was also launched simultaneously.

Box Knight / “Carton Knight”

The office has fallen into darkness. Toxic workplace environments turn cheerful employees into dangerous, dark creatures. The office is waiting for a hero, and that’s you! Become a cardboard box knight and bring light to this dark place.

Normally, you are just an ordinary office worker, but when the bell rings at 5pm on Friday, you will transform into a cardboard box knight, become the guardian of the office, fight against evil creatures, deliver beer, wine and non-alcoholic soft drinks to your colleagues. You have to guard the “culture” in this deserted workplace.

A once excellent company has encountered a “toxic” disaster. You have to liberate everyone layer by layer, department by department. Your ultimate goal is to get to the top of the building, kill the CEO…or die heroically and start all over again next week.

Nightmare House / “Nightmare House”

Welcome back to the Nightmare House! The once-famous “Half-Life/Half-Life 2” horror module “Nightmare House 2” has scored twice, with the same thrilling action battles and original first-person horror experience.

The haunted house is eerie, and the nightmares of past residents linger. You are trapped in the house by a powerful being named “Emily”. Find ways to make peace with her, build trust, and uncover her past, present, and future, while finding ways to escape this twisted reality. There is no way to avoid it, so muster up the courage to face it.

Nightmare House faithfully recreates the survival horror experience of the early 2000s. The original version delivers the critically acclaimed gameplay while also introducing a host of new mechanics that add new levels of depth and complexity. Explore, fight, survive, and relive classics from a new perspective.

“Don’t Let It Starve” is a “strategic gambling light meat pigeon ingredient combination building game”. There’s a monster in the wall, and he has picky tastes and is hard to serve. Find a way to satisfy its appetite with fancy lunch boxes. If the score is high enough, it (maybe) can let you out…

A mashup of horror + pigeon + cooking. You are trapped in a mysterious underground kitchen, forced to make lunch and feed it to a monster with a very tricky taste. Risk your life, use clever combinations, and make amazing bentos! No matter what, don’t let the monster starve.

Fright Train / “Canine Crisis: Dog Train”

Want to survive? Fight all the way from the back of the car to the front! A blizzard is tearing apart the claustrophobic carriage. Silence steps into a tight corner and faces a group of violent and bloodthirsty “teddy bears”? The sound of gunfire will only lead to more crazy attacks and bites. The extreme cold is licking the body temperature. Is it shivering to press the only bullets left in the body into the magazine, or is it still clinging to the last bargaining chip to repair the car to prevent frostbite. Put away your excess sympathy and find a way to survive in this carnival of flesh and blood!

It’s apocalyptic shopping for big dog agent Doug Buck and the scary teddy bear! In the dark and narrow steel carriage, every step back may lead to a dead end! There was a scary scratching sound coming from the ventilation duct. The cute furry creatures twist into bloodthirsty monsters that go berserk when hit. The hatch behind them slams shut, and bullets are accurately sent into their weak points before being torn apart by furry claws.

Athanasia/”The Nightmare of Immortality”

“Eternal Nightmare” is inspired by classic games such as “System Shock” (“System Shock”) and “Dino Crisis” (“Dino Crisis”). You have to face ancient powerful enemies, and only with your brains and strategy can you avert danger.

You are researcher and explorer Carmen Floss, a keen explorer who has been assigned to investigate a mysterious facility in South America. Disappearances occur frequently here, and strange phenomena frequently occur. In this twisting labyrinth, secrets and science are intertwined, and horrifying truths are hidden. There are also nightmares that are older than human history and have long been engraved in our blood.

Sucker for Love: Crush Landing

A beautiful fusion of “love” and “Lovecraftian style”. A charming comet named Haley crashes into your apartment, dragging you into an interstellar conflict of light and darkness. In this horror-comedy-style visual novel, you’ll need to power up Hayley’s flames to save the world…and maybe win her a kiss!

  • Three exciting chapters, blending Lovecraftian humor and romance, inspired by HP Lovecraft’s “Color of Stars” and Clark Ashton Smith’s “The City of Singing Fire”.

  • Solve interesting puzzles, and each choice you make will trigger a different ending.

  • Enjoy thousands of fully voiced plot dialogues and an immersive experience that enriches the story.

  • Exquisite hand-painted art and retro anime-style soundtrack perfectly recreate the charm of classic visual novels.

  • The apartment where the story begins has been newly upgraded, and the 360-degree hand-painted scene brings an immersive experience.

  • We solemnly promise: there are really, really no horror elements this time.

Alien Archiologist/”Alien Archeologist”

“Alien Archaeologist” is a relaxing incremental excavation game. Use a variety of upgradable tools to mine ores, dig through the ground, and clean up strange artifacts, all the way down to get closer to the secrets hidden in the core of the planet.

Digging holes, cleaning up mysterious artifacts, throwing in a few sticks of dynamite, and enjoying the sunset on Mars with a robot companion – this is what an interstellar explorer does in a day’s work. As an alien archaeologist, you never know what you will find next.

Horripilant/”Horrifying Abyss”

Horripilant is a creepy idle dungeon crawler that takes you through forgotten underground worlds. Combining placement, puzzle and auto-combat elements, you’ll fight, dig and figure out your way forward in this cursed dungeon.

You wake up. You’re old, battered, and lost in the darkest corners of a deserted dungeon. The dull air was filled with the stench of decay. The walls whisper in your ears, calling your name.

A strange tree comes into view. A small sapling grows stubbornly in the darkness. A voice orders you to attack it. A twig fell to the ground, followed by more.

There are constant shrill moans coming from the empty stairs, calling you one after another. You have to go down, this is your mission…

Encounter strange characters, solve weird puzzles, and fight to the death with terrifying enemies in the dark, struggling to survive. Will you finally escape this nightmarish abyss, or will you be swallowed whole by it?
